Iduns Erik Wallin is a speaker at this year’s Jfokus Developers Conference in Stockholm on February 5th.

Jfokus is Sweden’s largest developer conference with an open technical collaboration among language designers, compiler writers, tool builders, runtime engineers, and VM architects.

Erik will be discussing the potential of RealEstateCore for property owners and the use to describe the data of interaction within the buildings that they operate – as well as the management, storage, and sharing of this data. To attend the presentation, please visit their website here.

RealEstateCore is a modular ontology, that is, a collection of data schemas that describe concepts and relations that can occur in data that is generated to model buildings and building systems, or that is sourced from such systems.

We use Semantic Web technologies combined with a business-usefulness-approach; the result is the RealEstateCore (REC) ontology.

The ever-growing RealEstateCore consortium is working on improving the core ontology, adding more modules, and as well is working on making better tools to integrate and use the ontology in smart building platforms and its applications.

Idun ProptechOS is a property Operating System for smart building owners. It’s the easiest way to get started using RealEstateCore and transforming your property portfolio into an application platform ready to optimize.
