Memoori talks to Erik Wallin discussing “Unlocking Smart Building Potential with the RealEstateCore Ontology”
Memoori talks to Erik Wallin from Idun Real Estate discussing “Unlocking Smart Building Potential with the RealEstateCore Ontology”. RealEstateCore is an open source semantic web ontology combined with a business usefulness approach.
Based on RealEstateCore, ProptechOS is a SaaS that real estate owners can use to optimize and manage their property operations, develop applications for tenant services, manage the digital representation of their portfolio, and manage on-site edge technology.
Idun Real Estate was born out of an idea sparked between a data scientist, an engineer, and a real estate company with a shared passion for making buildings smart. It’s 2016 and a Swedish real estate company has a problem. They have an abundance of smart building ideas, but are trapped within the confines of an external provider’s system.
Idun, a new software company arrives on the smart building scene to make their mark with ProptechOS. Based on the open source semantic language RealEstateCore, ProptechOS is a Software-as-a-Service operating system that removes barriers to smart technology so that real estate owners can transform their portfolios into a platform for innovation, analysis, and optimization.
